In partnership with Aer Rianta International (ARI), Buhindi Group has developed the largest duty free business in the Middle East region. Established in 1995 Aer Rianta International Middle East (ARIME) currently has operations in Bahrain, Oman, Cyprus, Lebanon, Qatar and India generating revenues in excess of US 1.0 billion annually. In addition the company has significant airport investments including an investment in the new airport terminals in Larnaca and Paphos in Cyprus. Recently ARIME have won the concession for the both the new airports in Abu Dhabi as well as Muscat, Oman. ARI is 100% owned by the Dublin Airport Authority (Irish Civil Aviation Authority) which in turn is fully owned by the Government of Ireland. Although ARIME is primarily focused on Duty Free opportunities in the region it also offers consultancy services i.e. airport management, airport design and build and turnkey retail solutions for both airlines, airports and other customers.
